For the past 61 years, the Bear Cat Jass Band has entertained Central New York audiences with it's dynamic mix of traditional jazz and swing. The octet performs swinging tunes such as King Oliver's "High Society", Duke Ellington's "The Mooche", and Jelly Roll Morton's "Black Bottom Stomp".

The Bear Cats feature trumpters Jeff Stockham, and Lee Turner; reed players Carl Borak and Tom McKay; pianist Jerry Exline who doubles on tuba; trombonist Bill Palange;  banjo player Drew Frech; and drummer Bill Quick.
